[alumNY News] hackNY Spring Conference and Feb hackNight
Here’s the latest hackNY news…
🗣️ hackNY Spring Conference
We’re organizing a conference! In a return to public events (our first since the Fall 2019 hackathon), we’re excited to announce hackNY Spring - a one-day conference to springboard developers early in their careers to become the next generation of responsible leaders in NYC. The conference will cover two themes, teaching developers important non-technical skills to navigate the workplace, and how to use technology responsibly and ethically for social good.
The conference will be held Sunday, April 27 at Newlab in Brooklyn, with an alumNY reunion preceding it. More details and a call for volunteers to come! (Shout out to Dana Fein-Schaffer h’18 for the winning conference name)
🌃 hackNight February - NYC Resistor
Join fellow alumNY for our monthly get together, this month at NYC Resistor. Bring your own project to hack on, or just come to hang out.
Thurs Feb 20, 6:30pm at NYC Resistor (Brooklyn, Boerum Hill)
📞 Call for interviewers
The final round of applications for the summer fellowship closes today (Feb 13). We need a few more folks to help interview the top candidates. Please fill out the interest form or DM @Sakib on slackNY for any questions. Thank you for helping to select the 2025 class of hackNY!
Cheers,
-eric
