It’s week 8 of the summer fellowship! Fellows heard from two delightful speakers and adventured from Midtown up to Hudson Valley.

⏪ What happened last week?
Fellows met with Erica Du, co-founder and CTO of Toko, an AI-powered English learning app.
They also talked and danced(!) with alumNY Dan Gorelick (h’16). His interactive talk focused on building community and the relationship between art, music, and technology.
Some fellows went to see John Proctor is the Villain on Broadway…
…While another crew escaped the city with a day trip up to Cold Spring, NY. Expecting pics next week ;)

Akshay Dayal @ Warner Music Group
This week, fellows talk with Akshay Dayal, a seasoned product manager at Warner Music Group who’s previously been at Google and Stripe. He’ll discuss the diverse career paths within product management, leveraging technology for impact, and the unique intersection of tech and the music industry.

Matt Bunday & Andrew Flockhart @ Coinbase
Fellows will also meet with Coinbase engineers Matt and Andrew to talk about the company and the evolving landscape of crypto. This talk isn’t able to accommodate alumNY.
